Abstract

Intravaginal foreign bodies can be accompanied by many complications. This report presents a 15-year-old patient who retained an intravaginal foreign body for two years, which progressed into chronic salpingitis and recurrent urinary tract infections. The patient was successfully treated after the removal of a large plastic cup. During one year of medical follow-up, no intercurrent events were recorded, and no new infections were identified.
